This Thanksgiving we stayed home. We got to sleep in, even Sarynn seemed to need the extra couple of hours. I made crepes for breakfast then Sarynn watched The Godfather with Dad while I cooked. I must say that Pedro made the pies and they turned out excellent.

Once Jes and Rusty got here we ate played some card games and watched It's a Wonderful Life.  It was perfect. I missed my family in California and Pedro misses his in Ecuador but we both agreed that it was nice to be home with our new little family.

Pedro had the day off the other day and I asked if he would like to see something funny, and said, "Lets feed Sarynn some rice cereal and see what happens..." so we propped her up in the bouncer and mixed up some cereal expecting a huge disaster consisting of gagging and disgust. I gave her first bite and to our complete amazement she ate it and ate it happily! she didn't even tongue it out too much. I am shocked because this little girl is THE pickiest eater, much like her mom.
The next morning I thought I would try a mashed banana since the rice cereal went over so well. I gave her one bite and she threw up everywhere- which is what she normally does when she does not like some thing. I got the hint, we'll stick with cereal for now.  Since the first day she is getting messier and messier. She plays with the bib like whoa, can't keep her fingers out of her mouth while eating and then proceeds to grab her hair, clothes, feet whatever. My mom said i did the same thing. It's really funny but absolutely frustrating.

Sarynn is 4 months old!!!!! such a big girl! she officially gave up on rolling. she hates to be on her tummy and quickly realized rolling=tummy and put a stop to it rather quickly. She loves to suck on wet rags and talks up a storm, more screams up a storm. She is a master at grabbing things and bringing them to her mouth, there rarely any mistakes at that anymore. we started rice cereal this week and it is not going over very well yet..... we are still working on that one. I love her, I love everything about being her mom. Even waking up in the middle of the night to feed her is just fine with me. I can't wait to have 50 more just like her~

New camera

So I bought a new camera and here are some of the pictures  have taken so far.... I really have no idea of what I am doing but my goal is to get really good so I don't have to pay someone to take pics of my kids.
I had been bugging Pedro to get us tickets for the Jazz for the last two years and because Pedro works for Toyota we often get tickets for "Toyota sponsored events." He finally got tickets for this weekend we got to go to a Jazz game (basketball for those of you in california.) I really wanted to see the Lakers so hopefuly he can get them again next time the Lakers are here. They were VIP tickets so we were just 3 rows from the court and sitting next to Larry H Miller( the owner of the team), not that I am impressed with Larry H Miller but I was impressed with the quality of the seats.  They even served dinner. It was way fun and so nice to get of town and do something fun, it's been so long. Sarynn was perfect the whole night which made it even better. It was her first time in Salt Lake, she liked all the music and lights.

halloween

Well this is the only pic i got of Sarynn in her costume.... she hated the hood at first but looked oh so cute! Jessi and I made it earlier that week and I was so excited it turned out so good.  We went trick-or-treating with some of my friends here that also have little babies. In Logan on main street you can go to all the business' and they pass out candy, it was pretty cute .I have to admit it felt a little silly cause Sarynn obviously doesn't eat candy or get the idea of it but it was fun to show her off and see the other little babies costumes. Later that day we helped Jessi make her peacock costume (which i didn't get a picture of because my battery died!) it turned out super cute. Lastly we handed out candy to the trick-or-treaters. It was a fun Halloween, a good first for Sarynn. I'll take more pics of her in her costume next week and post them.
